On Writers Who Amaze Me
There are some writers in this world who simply amaze me.
The ones that amaze me the most are the ones who churn out fiction like a well-oiled and witty machine on a regular basis, seemingly without ever having to stop for bathroom breaks, and whose fiction is actually of high quality. Indeed. High. Quality. That's a rare find on the interwebs. So when I find a writer who has written, I don't know, three hundred seventeen fanfictions, where the shortest are about three thousand words and some continue on past forty-thousand and all of them should be on my favorites list...
I am speechless, and that is my drive.
Luckyladybug, I wanna be just like you!
And Aspen in the Sunlight, for her wonderful, fabulous, extremely long Harry Potter fic entitled A Year Like None Other. (I was going to write a summary for it but here is the wonderful link instead: http://aspenlight.livejournal.com/ )
So. I do believe I want to go back to Internet posting of some caliber, and now--I am just realizing this--since I am a bit reluctant to post original fiction on the Internet when I could sell it to literary magazines and make a few dollars (I am a poor student. Don't judge me.) I may move back into the realm of fanfic. Build up my credibility again, maybe actually get someone to read my blog, hmm?
I am liking this idea. Yes, indeed. I shall hop to it immediately! Immediately as in, after I write a thousand more words for NaNo, get in a few hours of Crisis Core, and type up my plan so far for my newest original fic idea.
