On Circa Survive
Band of the moment: Circa Survive. Yes, because Simon likes it.
And that is reason enough, almost, but luckily I like it too and so it is now my band of the moment. But I shan't talk of Simon anymore, at least not until the morrow and then only if something happens. I must promise myself that.
Church. I like church. I think everyone should go to church, but not just any church, a fun church, and my church isn't that fun. I am Catholic. Last night I had a dream where I wanted to be Presbyterian--though if anything, I should think, Baptist--and apparently they worshipped the God part more than the Jesus part. Only I couldn't be rebaptized. And then I woke up.
Perhaps God was trying to tell me something. Whatever it is, I hope he reveals to me the meaning because I do believe I am too dense to understand. Or perhaps I'm just not trying hard enough.
Every entry is a digression, but would there be any fun if there wasn't? Strange, though, because I absolutely hate when podcasts digress from their main topic; I listen to a podcast because I want to hear about something specific, darnit, not about your personal life or your views on cows or lightning-struck goats named Bernard.
PotterFicWeekly, that was for you.
Not that I have anything against them. They're great people.
On the other hand, if I want absolutely nothing from a podcast, nothing in particular, then the digressions are what I want. I think. I don't believe I'm actually found a podcast about nothing in particular.
This morning I watched my first NoMoreMarbles webcast, and it was all right. She was funny. I'm just not a huge Twilight fan and for that reason perhaps didn't enjoy the webcast as much as I would have liked.
What I did like, though:
The two newest episodes of Ugly Betty
Azu Manga Daioh Volume II
The trailer from TrueBlood (Perhaps it's TruBlood)
But I did not like the new Twilight trailer. Regardless (not irregardless, kiddies, no matter what you hear your parents say) I will still see the movie. And so I hope it will be epic.
And, dare I say, eighty-five thousand times better than the books.
Oh yes, and I began and finished Song for Simon outline all today, and for that I am very happy.
