On "Can" and "Not" and the Space In-Between
I find Anthony Gallegos to be quite humorous.
Just thought I'd say that. You may Google him.
The little English voice is back in my head and makes my fingers fly faster and with more colour than ever, I believe--nay, not quite ever, because school has still drained the life liquid from my veins. (By Jove, I cannot stand that phrase.) I'm fighting against the urge to fail out school with every fiber of my being. (That one too.)
Has anyone ever wondered why there is no space between "can" and "not"? I have. Just a bit. But honestly, I don't care, as it's less work for my thumbs.
WEIRDO.
That is how I am remembering my Spanish. It stands for Wishes, Expressions, Impersonal, Recommendations, Denial/Doubt, and then Ojala. The a at the end of Ojala is supposed to have un accento. It is originally Arabic. Or Muslim. Or something along those lines.
I may not be able to participate in NaNo at midnight this year. Halloween is my Spanish midterm--honestly, that entire week is midterms/quarterlies and I'm like GAH!, excuse my slang--which I may not even make if I go to play contest. I would really, really like to go to play contest.
Of course, that would mean extra work and me missing the midnight NaNo start and me having to retake my Spanish midterm, which is more studying and biting nails--but it would be worth it. And I know there is very little way I'd be able to go to play contest otherwise, because for convenience's sake my parents would not let me go as a spectator.
I would really, really like to go as a spectator.
Odyssey of the Mind is coming along a bit well. There is this one chap in my group who's dizzy in the head, or perhaps knocked about the cranium, or some other swaddling British term (I am feeling QUITE Brirish and am doing a HORRIDIBLE job of it) but he is fun. And he likes Spore. He mentions Spore a lot and I have heard that he likes me, but I do not think that is so. Although, that would be interesting. Definitely.
Google Matt Hazard. He's not real, but when the game comes out, I want it. PSP please?
PostScript :: I may attempt to write a play. Hmm.
